MountWest Paramedic Program Enrolling for Fall Semester

Mountwest Community & Technical College is pleased to announce it is enrolling students for the next Paramedic Program being held at the HealthTeam Critical Care Transport Training Center in Charleston, West Virginia. The course will begin on August 22, 2022. Program lectures will be conducted online and students will meet every Monday in Charleston from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for laboratory skills.

Students enrolled in the program can become a Nationally Registered Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) in one semester. In one and a half semesters, students can become a West Virginia AEMT. All three semesters must be completed for Paramedic certification. All three certifications can be completed in less than a year.
